The Gardens are stunning, with the Topiary Terraces offering a formal backdrop to the romantic building and contemporary wrought iron gates leading to the Walled Garden with herbaceous plants, heritage roses and trained fruit trees.

The beautiful Walled garden, built in the 1730s, is a wonderful setting for a large collection of herbaceous plants, roses and trained fruit trees. The terraces, with topiary, were originally laid out in the 17th century. They lead down to the Low Garden, cascade and the lake. The fine specimen trees and the 17th century Dovecote form part of the Woodland Walk.
