Explore the historic medieval parish church of Rothwell. A continuous place of worship in the heart of Rothwell since 1130 AD.

Grade II listed Medieval Parish Church given to Nostel Priory by Robert de Lacy and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The Church features on display the famous 'John of Gaunt Coat', a rare restored 14th century hunting jacket suggested to have been worn by John of Gaunt. A small selection of 'Mouseman' furniture. 19th century and Georgian stained glass windows and recently installed Millennium and Creation windows. The Church also features a fine selection of Victorian hand-carved Pew end finials.
