HODs Around Abingdon

To celebrate this year’s HODs theme of “Transport, Routes and Connections” we will have a whole series of activities to take you out and about around Abingdon’s historic town centre.

These will include:
• A “Fun-Facts Trail” - spot the Fun Facts questions on signs around the town centre - can you match them with an answer on one of the Fun Facts boards inside the venues?
• East St Helen Street trail with information and photos in residents’ windows,
• Themed Flower displays in various of the HODs venues
• Watching local artists at work painting our historic buildings
• Self-guided walks and trails using leaflets you can pick up from our stall or download to your phone
• A family quiz trail

And on Sunday we will have a Historic Vehicle rally in the Market Place where you can revel in Abingdon’s car-making history. Along with MGs made in the town, there will also be other historic and vintage cars and some agricultural vehicles.

We will have an information stall in the Market Place throughout both days, and on the Saturday visitors will be entertained by the Abingdon Traditional Morris Dancers from 12.00 onwards
