Gipton Fire Station has been renovated into a fantastic multipurpose community hub, providing a base for six local charities, along with rooms available to hire, a cookery school and a café for all of the community to enjoy!
Heritage Open Day provides an opportunity for the public to come and look at some old artifacts and meet ex fire fighters. With some fun activities for all the family. Kids Activity Trial Collect your clipboard and toy fire fighters hat from reception then follow the trial to discover more about this former fire station and the heritage museum exhibits. Building and Heritage Museum Open 11-2pm for you to pop in and explore the building and museum, curated by heritage group and Space2, with additional exhibits on show for heritage open day. Cafe open serving food and refreshments throughout.
