Heritage Open Day at Hebden Bridge Picture House, Saturday, September 7th, 10am-noon. Vintage films, information about the history of the 103-year-old cinema, talks, refreshments, poster sale.

Lights! camera! action! Take a look behind the scenes at Hebden Bridge Picture House, one of the few independent, local authority-owned cinemas in the country. The 103-year-old Picture House will open its doors to visitors on Saturday, September 7th from 10am to noon. There will be the chance to find out about the history of the cinema, learn about the BTH projector (now on permanent display), watch vintage gala films, buy film posters and meet members of the Friends of the Picture House. Refreshments will be available, all welcome.
