Hansom Hall Talking Tour

54 Belvoir Street, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE1 6QL

  • 07 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

The balcony of the iconic Hansom Hall is never open to the public. For Heritage Open Days 2024 two special Talking Tours will cover the interesting history of this building, a hidden gem amongst Leicester’s heritage buildings.

The two Talking Tours will be hosted by Kerry Gray, Head of
Leicester Adult Education. Each tour will start at the Documentary Media Centre table in the Hansom
Hall and last approx. 20 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no lift access to the balcony, so this part of the Talking Tour is not accessible for wheelchair users. We will provide a pre-recorded film of Kerry giving the same talk, for visitors to view, showing the balcony part of the Talking Tour.
