Guided walk around the historic town centre of Tring, Hertfordshire
Tring Local History Museum, Brook Street, Tring, Hertfordshire, HP23 5ED
This walk, mostly on level pavements, starts at 1400 at Tring Local History Museum (which we hope will be open too). It will explain the growth and development of this historic town in the Chiltern Hills, with its Roman connections, mansion by Wren and above all its association with the Rothschild family and the contribution made by the architect William Huckvale.
