A 90-minute walk around the historic village of Ripley taken by the chairman of the local history society. Interesting old buildings and some fascinating local stories.

Ripley is a village of significant historical interest, situated on the former main road from London to Portsmaouth. Fascinating history and some entertaining characters. Starting at 2.30pm it takes 90 / 100 mins, around 1 1/4 miles - all flat. Not ideal for wheelchairs as partly on the Green and one stretch over pebbled driveway.

We are between the two new village halls almost opposite the church. There may be parking at the halls but there is free parking all around the area
