Jan Hewitt, former Churchwarden of St Mary's, will be offering free Guided Tours of our splendid C12th Norman Church which has been a place of worship for almost 1,000 years. Jan will be inviting us to discover:-
• The fascinating history of the building since Norman times together with its architecture through the ages.
• The secrets of the ancient Font and its possible connection with the Minster.
• An intriguing, hidden doorway and its purpose.
• The work of renowned Victorian Gothic Revivalist, Sir. George Gilbert Scott.
