Guided walk with a museum guide to the pubs past and present of Dorking many of which grew up around transport networks and hubs

The guided walk will start at Dorking Museum on West Street, Dorking. It will last c90 minutes and will focus on the the historic town pubs and coaching inns in the town centre, their histories and connection to local transport networks. Walking will be at a comfortable walking pace with stops for your guide to introduce you to the buildings that have housed pubs, inns or beerhouses, the stories associated with them and the architectural features that may still be seen.
