  • 15 Sep 2024
  • In person

Green Sundays is a showcase of sustainability in the heart of Sudbury, Suffolk. This special edition Green Sundays, as part of Heritage Open Days 2024 will be celebrating exploring the area car free and care free!

Alongside a range of stalls, talks and demonstrations, join us for free hands on crafty activities that will help us make strides for sustainability and nudge us towards a more reduce-reuse-recycle mentality in our day to day lives. Become a green inventor and doodle your solutions to conserve water, reduce your carbon footprint, save the bees, reduce your use of single use plastics and more.

Make a self-watering planter from your old plastic bottles, or why not try making a tasty bird feeder from pine cones! We'll also be exploring the new Wool Towns Walk with the Sudbury Ramblers which connects the Suffolk Wool Towns and other ways to explore local without a car! Or join our free talk, The Business Case for Sustainability on the day.

Green Sundays is all about local action - global impact and this Heritage Open Days will be an opportunity to get crafty and go green at the same time!
