Discover 1000 years of history with a walking tour of Great Linford Manor Park, enjoy tea and cake in Historic St. Andrew’s Church, and watch an illustrated lecture on the history of the village and parish of Great Linford.

The recently restored Great Linford Manor Park is home to some of the most historic buildings and landscapes in the modern city of Milton Keynes. Join a guided walk around the scenic water gardens and learn how they have changed over the centuries, as well as finding out about the lives of those who called the manor house home. Along the way you’ll find out about wartime connections to the code breakers of Bletchley Park, discover scandal and intrigue, and even a time when the manor house was an important recording studio, hosting some of the biggest music acts in the world.

You can also visit St. Andrew’s Church, nestled within the manor park grounds. Tea and cakes will be served, and special access will be provided to see the medieval floor tiles. An illustrated presentation will also be made, taking the viewer on a journey along the historic high street. See how some of the surviving houses in Great Linford looked a century ago and find out the fascinating stories of those who lived in them.
