A short talk, followed by Q&A and discussion, from David Robbie, local historian, author and former teacher at Rugeley Grammar School and Fair Oak School, to celebrate the launch of his book ‘Great Haywood, Past and Present, People and Places.’

The book includes chapters on J. R. R. Tolkien, William Palmer, the Rugeley Poisoner, and Shugborough’s jet-setting 5th Earl, photographer Patrick Lichfield.

David’s talk begins at 2:30pm, followed by time for a Q&A and discussion. There will also be a chance to purchase a copy of the book and have it signed until 4:30pm.
