Goathurst Village Heritage Trail - Temple of Pan
The Temple of Pan, Halswell Park, Goathurst, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA5 2DH
The Temple of Pan was build in the 1770s as a baroque folly and was probably one of the last follies to be built as part of Sir Charles Kemeys-Tyntes transformation of the landscape and gardens of Halswell Park. It is thought to be built by the architect John Johnson and was also known as the Bailiff's houses but may have been intended to be part residential.

Accessibility details
Limited parking on site although additional parking is available at Halswell House. Part of the garden is relatively accessible. Other parts are steep in places with uneven paths and steps.
