Goathurst Heritage Trail - Halswell House, Parkland, Mill Wood and the Temple of Harmony

Halswell House will be open to the public and will include access to the state rooms, the gardens, parkland, woodland, ponds and follies. There will be an opportunity to join a group walks up onto the roof. The event includes a heritage walk taking in St Edward's Church, Goathurst, The Robin Hood Hut (Landmark Trust) and the gardens of the privately owned Temple of Pan.

Light lunches, drinks and homemade cake available at St Edward's Church, drinks and homemade cake at the Temple of Pan.

There will be a chance to have an accompanied tour up on to the roof of Halswell House. Limited numbers per tour, tickets issued on a first come, first served basis on the day. TICKETS OR PRE-BOOKING ARE NOT NEEDED FOR ANY OTHER PART OF THIS EVENT.

Accessibility details

Halswell House contains steps. The gardens contain steps, slopes, uneven paths and deep water. Children should be closely supervised. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a short lead. Please clean up after your dog.

Additional information

The event is being run in conjunction with St Edward's Church, Goathurst and the privately owned gardens of the Temple of Pan. The event includes a heritage trail across park and farmland. Light lunches, tea and cake will be available at St Edward's Church from noon and tea and cake at the Temple of Pan.
