This iconic C17th threshing barn is now in the care of the Keyworth Conservation Area Advisory Group (CAAG). This will be the fifth time the barn has been open for the Heritage Open Days Festival

George Martyn's Barn has stood on Main Street since 1651.
This year CAAG is exploring the theme 'Keyworth - Routes, Networks, Connections'

George Martyn's Barn is located along Main Street, opposite the Post Office, close to the Square (there is a regular bus service from Nottingham). There are two public car parks nearby; there may be limited on street parking available.

The building is on one level, but the original threshing floor is uneven, please take care.

Additional information

Keyworth Conservation Area Advisory Group (CAAG) took on the tenancy of this building in August 2020. We open George Martyn's Barn in conjunction with other local events at other times during the year: at the same time as, for instance the Open Gardens for the National Garden Scheme in the summer and the village Festivities Day in early December.
