Frome Town Crier Talk

Mike Bishop, Frome Town Crier for 17 years, 2006 to 2023 , will give a talk on the history, duties and functions of the town crier role and how it has been revived in recent times. The civic duties involved, some information on the outfits worn, memorable proclamations and information on the many town crier competitions he was involved in.
The talk will include an exhibition of town crier regalia and prizes.
