Local Weaver Alice Hume will present a talk with photographs and samples of her project From Soil to Cloth, to develop urban textile gardens in the city of Portsmouth. The Textile industry is the second largest polluter, and yet natural fibres can be grown and are biodegradable, find out more about home-grown Portsmouth Linen.
