This Grade II listed 1868 building is still owned by the South Saxon Lodge, one of the oldest in Sussex.

Inside are remains of the medieval town wall's Westgate tower. You will be able to explore the building including the first floor Temple, and Masons will be on hand to answer questions. Behind the hall, in Pipe Passage, can be seen a part of the town wall.
