The history of Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings is full of connections. Initially supplies were first built to site via the Shrewsbury to Newport canal which passed right by the front of the building. This was replaced by the railways which started coming to site from 1855. Sidings even brought supplies right into the buildings via rail.
Free entry offer runs from Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 September inclusive. Booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
