Floral Journeys: The heritage and craft of canal boat roses

Following this year's Heritage Open Day's theme of 'Routes, Networks and Connections' discover the historical roots of this traditional artform with Poynton-based canal boat artist Andy Russell.
Alongside a practical demonstration, Andy will chat about the history of the roses and how they’ve developed over the years, exploring different styles and different artists. There will even be an opportunity to 'have a go'.
This event is aimed at adults. Due to the limited nature of spaces, we cannot accept group bookings.
