Join us for FleeceFest, an afternoon of music, craft, food, creativity and getting involved at the Red Brick Building. This event has been co-created by some brilliant and inspiring young people and there's something for everyone!

Come to FleeceFest - a fun and inspiring afternoon at the Red Brick Building and in our Community Garden. The Red Brick Building was part of the Morlands sheepskin factory, a rural industry that generated secure and varied work for generations of Somerset people. Now it's a community hub, and through this event, we hope you can re-connect with our area's past, enjoy a range of experiences and learn a little bit about this important place.
What will you find?

- Wonderful live music by local bands, including some songs composed in response to the oral histories we collected last year from people who worked at Morlands and Baily's.
- Sheepskin-inspired craft, linking in to the artisan skills of our area. Easy mini projects that you can complete and take home on the day!
- Making your mark with our collaborative mural painting activity. This art piece, co-produced by our young people and local artist Jon Minshull, celebrates some of the images, moments and memories in the history of the Beckery area. The finished panels will be displayed at the Red Brick Building for everyone to admire.
- Food and drink to keep you energised - all FleeceFest visitors will get a discount voucher!
- Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy.

This is set to be a chilled afternoon where you can relax with friends, try new things and discover something about this part of Glastonbury. If you are 16 - 25, we'd especially love you to come along and enjoy this event at the Red Brick Building.
