England and Wales's last remaining complete gasworks, a gem of Britain's industrial heritage and a window on working peoples domestic and working life. See the amazing process of turning coal into Town Gas and the uses the by-products found.

Remembering domestic appliances of the past with collections of gas cookers, fires, refrigerators, water heaters and lights. Fakenham Gasworks Museum also has the workshops Gas Fitters used in the repair of both the Gasworks itself but also the infrastructure of the town Gas supply and customers appliances, all preserved within scheduled monument.
