Escape the Lab Escape Room: Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN)
Wolfson Centre for Prevention of Stroke and Dementia, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Way, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX3 9DU
WIN is a group of world-leading brain imaging centres in three University of Oxford departments: Clinical Neurosciences, Psychiatry, and Experimental Psychology. We aim to bridge the gap between laboratory neuroscience and human health. For Oxford Open Doors we invite you in to play our neuroscience-themed escape room, “Escape the Lab: Rogue Brain Takeover”.
The escape room is best suited for people 11+, but there is no scary or inappropriate content, so families with younger children are also welcome. The escape room takes approximately 45 minutes to complete, so time slots will be offered on the hour.
The escape room can host one group per hour. Group size is at the discretion of the registrant, but given the size constraints of the room, we recommend groups of no more than 6 people. We will not accept ‘group’ bookings of only 1 person, but pair bookings are acceptable.
The escape room does not involve MRI scanners and these will not be available for viewing during your visit.

Building entrance has no steps. Door is an automatic sliding door with entry granted by staff member pressing button. There is a lift between all floors, though it requires a staff member to operate. The escape room is big enough to accommodate wheelchair users.
