From the 1840s to 1920s, Eastham Pleasure Gardens provided extensive attractions and entertainments for day trippers on the Liverpool to Eastham ferry. Attractions included circus acts, a boating lake, water chute, loop-the-loop railway and a zoological garden. On this walk we will try to re-live these exciting days.
