Spend the afternoon with your guide, Assistant Ranger Rupert Eris, on a brand new 3-hour excursion. You’ll hear about the diverse history of West Runton, from the Anglo-Saxon period right up to World War II.
West Runton has been in the care of the National Trust since 1925, since when archaeological surveys revealed a variety of features that led to excavations unearthing iron working sites.
Please bring water and wear sturdy walking boots as this tour will take you over rough and hilly ground. Please note there are no facilities at West Runton with the nearest at Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall.

The route goes over rough and hilly ground, so is not suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters or pushchairs. Dogs are allowed but please be aware the length and terrain of the event. The tour on Tuesday 10th September will be accompanied by a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter
