Dyrham Park
Dyrham Park, Dyrham, Gloucestershire, SN14 8HY
Dyrham Park is looking forward to welcoming visitors for free on Saturday 7 September. During your visit, you can stretch your legs through the parkland and take in some of the views right over to Wales and you might spot the herd of newly introduced fallow deer. There are some set walking routes or you can go your way. The formal gardens include an Avenue of formal planting and pools with beautiful borders. There's also an orchard and a peaceful wooded terraces area.
For those who like a bit of history, you can step inside the baroque mansion house, created by civil servant William Blathwayt in the 17th century and there's a special exhibition running too. Try out the play area and cafe at Old Lodge in the parkland. The tea-room/kiosk will be open selling refreshments and the National Trust shop will be open for anyone wanting a souvenir of their special day or a plant for the garden. Assistance dogs only.

The parkland is steep and uneven in places. There are mobility vehicles to get visitors who need it from the car park down to the garden and house and back.
