Dover Marine Station & Admiralty Pier

Guided tour of Dover Marine Station and Admiralty Pier. Marine station, now Dover Cruise Terminal 1, was completed in 1914 and used extensively during World War I to move troops and the wounded. The building has impressive architecture and features from a bygone era of crosschannel
travel. The tour follows on to Admiralty Pier, which, at the extreme western end of Dover Harbour, stretches seaward 2,900 feet. (Subject to weather conditions).
