Book the tour on the Dorking Museum website. It lasts 45 mins and looks at the geology, the history and the legends of the caves. The man-made caves provide some fascinating connections to Dorking's businesses over the ages. Do wear sensible shoes and meet outside the war memorial 10 mins before your tour to collect your hardhat. Children over the age of 5 are welcome with an accompanying adult. There are 47 steps down to the mystery chamber (and back up again sadly!).
