The Winfarthing Anglo-Saxon Project is launching the story of an amazing find dating back to 650ad.

Come and find out the story of an amazing discovery made in Winfarthing. Back in 2014 metal detectorist Tom Lucking made the find of a lifetime - the grave of a young, high status Anglo-Saxon woman, who had been buried with spectacular jewellery, including a large gold and garnet pendant.
Join us for the launch of a travelling display about the find, what has happened since, and the mysteries that still remain.
Tom Lucking will be joining us to speak with visitors about his discovery and to show a selection of some of his local finds.
The display will be held in the Grade 1 - listed Winfarthing St Mary's Church.
Tea, coffee and cakes available.
