See our historic water wheel driven pump along with other working and hands-on exhibits in a beautiful riverside setting. Special activities will challenge our young inventors.

Come and marvel at the inspiring engineering of our historic beam pump, waterwheel and water fountain before admiring the 21st century state of the art water turbine making renewable energy. All in all, a jam packed weekend that showcases all that our stunning heritage site has to offer.

Children's craft activities and refreshments available in the old canal warehouse on both days.

Accessibility details

Step access to pump room but all other exhibition areas have level access. Riverbank walk can be soft and uneven.
