The Coroner's Court which is listed Grade II* forms part of a complex of civic buildings designed by the architects Harvey and Wicks between 1924 and 1928.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see inside the Grade II* listed Coroner's Court. The building was designed by Harvey and Wicks and built between 1924 and 1928 as part of a group of civic buildings which also includes the Memorial Tower and the Brooke Robinson Museum. The courtroom has remained largely unchanged and retains its original fittings and furnishings. Information about the building and material produced through the Townscape Heritage programme will be on display during the open event.
