Combat Stress provides clinical treatment and support for veterans from the British Armed Forces, with a focus on those with some of the most complex mental health issues. When some military personnel leave service, their experiences can’t easily be left behind. Without treatment, psychological trauma can eventually tear lives apart.
During the day, guests will meet our CEO and other senior members of staff, hear directly from members of our clinical team about the specialist therapies we provide and have the opportunity to speak with veterans whose lives has been transformed by our treatment.
The Open Day will begin at 1045 with welcome teas and coffees and is planned to finish by 1400.

Take the M25 to Junction 9 exit: - If travelling down from Junction 10, at Junction 9 exit take the 1st exit at the roundabout to the A244. - If travelling up from Junction 8, at Junction 9 exit take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto the A243. At the second roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A244. Follow the A244 until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Oaklawn Road. Tyrwhitt House is approximately 250 metres on the right-hand side. Directions – by train The closest train station is Leatherhead, which is a 5-minute drive or 35-minute walk to Tyrwhitt House.
