Guided tours, new woodland walk, talks, traction engine rides, craft stalls, vintage cycle display, local history stand, refreshments

Our fullest heritage open day programme yet as we inaugurate our new, accessible woodland walk, bring in new speakers to give talks on aspects of the local heritage and as we invite other local organisations to join us for the day, including the local history society RH7, local steam enthusiasts and local vintage cycle enthusiasts. We will have a craft tent this year and of course a refreshment and bar tent serving teas, coffees, soft drinks, local beers and wines, and light snacks.
The new woodland walk will be officially opened by the Revd Robert Raikes, our very own parachuting priest, whose skydiving exploit last year raised the money for the new path. Other residents of the College will be involved on the day in giving talks and in leading the guided tours. As ever, a half-size traction engine will be onsite for steam-hauled rides.
