Clogs, bobbins, tea, cake and a warm Methodist welcome
Central Methodist Church, 106 Town Street, Horsforth, West Yorkshire, LS18 4AH
Briggate Morris began in Leeds in 1985. Dancing in the Northwest style, we currently have about 30 active members, dancers and musicians, of all ages. We are always happy to welcome new members to our friendly, mixed side.
For the last 10 years, we have practised on Monday evenings at the Central Methodist Chapel, fostering excellent relationships with the Methodist Church family. We have enjoyed their hospitality and have supported various fundraising events.
Join us for an evening of dancing and music - you can watch the dancing, listen to the music and if you want you can try some of the steps for yourself - we'll show you what to do. You can explore the history of the Central Methodist Church in Horsforth and relax in their beautiful gardens and Chapel premises
There will be a warm welcome from our hosts at the Methodist Chapel, providing hot and cold drinks, cakes and other treats (donations welcome)
There is ample street parking as well as disabled bays nearby and the venue itself is fully accessible and includes disabled facilities and toilets.
