The National Trust team caring for Clandon Park are delighted to be revealing their new plans for the house, which offer a unique X-ray view of how great houses were made. Since a major fire in 2015, specialist research and investigative conservation has revealed more and more about how the house was originally designed, constructed and decorated. The Trust’s new plans for Clandon responds to the evocative spaces created by the fire and the findings the team have uncovered. Join the National Trust team on Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September to discover their work to conserve and share the story of a great house laid bare by a tragic fire.
