Join us to explore the churchyard at St. Michael and All Angels Mickleham and see what has been done to encourage local flora and fauna to thrive. Inside you can explore the ancient church and enjoy delicious home-made cakes and refreshments.

The Church of England believes that responding to the climate crisis is an essential part of its responsibility to safeguard God’s creation and achieve a just world. As part of a wider environmental programme, Eco-Church is a framework for action that has been developed to help combat climate change and demonstrate that the gospel is good news for God’s Earth.
The parish of Mickleham appointed an Eco group to look at ways in which we can connect with and protect nature around us. With the help of a dedicated team of volunteers much has been achieved. Join us to walk through the long grass, see the seasonal pond and the orchard as well as the hedgerows that have all been planted to encourage local flora and fauna, or simply sit and enjoy the peace, much as J. M. W. Turner did when he painted the church.
Inside the church you can explore the history of a building that dates from Norman times as well as enjoying home-made cakes and refreshments.
