Visit the historic church of St Nicholas in Little Bowden and learn a little about the saints depicted in the windows and artwork and read the story of Revd Vivian Redlich who was martyred in 1942 in Papua New Guinea. At St Hugh's Church on Northampton Road, you can see the 20th century architecture of Charles Nicholson and stained glass by A K Nicholson, read the story of St Hugh and his wild companion. At each church there will be a treasure hunt. Amongst the gravestones at St Nicholas look for the stockings containing the doweries left by St Nicholas and in the gardens around St Hugh you will find the swans associated with this saint.
