Christ Church LEP, Nailsworth
Newmarket Road, Nailsworth, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL6 0DQ
Christ Church, Nailsworth is a Grade 2 listed Cotswold stone building. It was originally Shortwood Baptist Chapel but became known as Christ Church when the church became an ecumenical partnership (now made up of Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed members.)
The church building was originally erected in Shortwood in 1837 (on the site of a pre-existing Baptist chapel.) It was then moved to its present site in Newmarket road in 1881. Its design is very typical of non-conformist architecture with a gallery and pipe organ.
Simple refreshments will be served in the Christ Church rooms alongside the church from 10am - 3pm.

Although there are steps into the church, we do have a slightly ramped access as well.
Christ Church has a very interesting history.
