As part of Heritage Open Days, join Chippenham Museum behind-the-scenes and discover how we care for our collection and store over 40,000 objects. Explore where we house our collection on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum Stores, led by our Collections and Exhibitions Officer. We will also be joined by the Conservation and Museums Advisory Service (CMAS) who will be demonstrating how we care for objects in the collection with help from our volunteers.
Stores Tours will take place on the hour, from 11am - 2pm, with a duration of approximately 30-minutes.
Our behind-the-scenes tours are free, but spaces are limited so booking is essential. Please note, our stores do not have step-free access. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
