Chesham Bois Burial Ground Open Day
Chesham Bois Burial Ground, off Bois Moor Road, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1SU
Chesham Bois Burial Ground is one of Chesham Bois' best kept secrets. Even though it has been open since 1924, many local residents do not realise where it is, the fascinating history of the characters who have been associated with it or the diversity of the services which it provides.
Come and meet the team who look after it.. Information will be available about notable people who are buried here, including our four Commonwealth War Graves. Visit the Chapel, which is usually closed except for services, and take time to remember a loved one.
Adjacent to the Burial Ground is the rare chalk grassland meadow which is also owned and managed by the Parish Council. It hosts a diverse variety of wildflowers and wildlife - some of them quite rare - a spotters guide will be available for you to track them down.
Come and enjoy the tranquil setting, the fabulous views and find out more.

There is level access with gravel paths to the Chapel and the Garden of Remembrance. The Burial Ground features three separate areas, each of which has a central path which rises steeply up the hillside. The adjoining chalk grassland meadow has paths across the area.
