The synagogue is part accessible to wheelchair users; they will not be able to access the balcony. Note that the doorways are narrow and will only permit the entry of small wheelchairs.
There will be a talk in Cheltenham Synagogue 2.30 pm Sunday 8 September by historian Neela Mann "William Hill Knight: Architect, His Works and Life". The Synagogue was William Hill Knight's first commission at the age of 22 but he went on to design many classic buildings in Cheltenham, many of which are still in use. But which ones? This talk tells of this little known architect and his importance to the town. Please email [email protected] if you would like to attend. There is no charge.
