St Wulfram's has, according to Jenkins, 'England's finest steeple', majestic to behold. Visit the crypt, the Trigge chained library, and see newly-conserved monuments by some of England's most talented sculptors.

One monument is to William King, the 'projector' of the Grantham Canal. Bookstall available. This is one of Jenkin's top 5 star churches now with much conservation work completed in the last ten years. The library dating from 1598 contains books, mostly in Latin, over 500 years old

Accessibility details

There are stairs down to the Crypt, up to the Chained Library and Tower. Owing to the presence of nesting falcons, it will not be possible to access the upper part of the tower.
