Quaker meeting house of high aesthetic value on a site of high significance. Visit to the building and grounds, displays and refreshments.

Canterbury Friends Meeting House occupies part of the site of the medieval Blackfriars close to the historic core of Canterbury. It has an attractive garden, with the river Stour forming part of its boundary. The 1950s building combines neo-Georgian and Arts and Crafts elements. There will be displays about Quakers in East Kent and Beyond on the theme of Routes, Networks and Connections, and on other aspects of Quaker life and work.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
