Visit Canons Ashby to enjoy the beautiful gardens, the historic house, the medieval church and green outdoor spaces. On Saturday enjoy live clarinet music, or on Sunday have a close look at our nature table.

Visit Canons Ashby to enjoy the beautiful gardens, the historic house, the medieval church and green outdoor spaces. It will be free entry both days from 1000 until we close at 1700. The house will be open from 1130 until last entry at 1530.



On Saturday 14 September, enjoy music from the Liquorice Allsorts Clarinet Ensemble in the formal garden, 1130-1230, or the Priory Church from 1400-1500. (Please note: If it rains, both performances will be in the church)



On Sunday 15 September, come to see what’s on our nature table from 1030-1400 to find out what evidence the animals who live here leave behind. Whilst you’re here, pop into the shop to collect a souvenir or treat yourself in the tea-room to a cream tea or a light lunch. Free entry on these days only as part of Heritage Open Days. There’s no need to book in advance.

Grounds: 1000-1700. House 1130-1600, last entry 1530. Liquorice Allsorts Clarinet Ensemble Performances: (If good weather) Formal garden 1130-1230 & Priory Church 1400-1500.
Sunday 15 September:
Grounds: 1000-1700. House: 1130-1600, last entry 1530. Nature table: 1030-1400.

The offer is different on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that on Saturday we have music from a clarinet ensemble, where on Sunday the focus will be on Nature and looking at natural objects.
