Cambray Baptist Church is a listed building which was built in 1855. It has been updated and extended over the years, but retains original features. The building is home to a large active church and there will be displays on our history.

Cambray Baptist is a listed mid 19th Century Baptist Chapel in the heart of Cheltenham. The main chapel has an elevated pulpit and a large gallery with original pews. The building was extended at the end of the 19th Century with the addition of a large hall, which was one of the first public buildings in Cheltenham to have electricity and central heating. Many visitors have often likened the building to the tardis as the extensions are hidden behind the surrounding buildings.

Visitors are welcome to look around or we will be happy to provide tours at any time. We will also have displays documenting some of the history of the building and the church itself.
