The Cadbury Archives are a rich treasure trove of material relating to the history of the Cadbury business. The Archives contain documents dating back to 1842 and extensive packaging and advertising collections.

The Cadbury Archives have recently undergone a substantial refurbishment to mark Cadbury’s milestone 200-year anniversary in 2024. They serve as a treasure trove of historical artefacts, documents and memorabilia that showcase the evolution of the Cadbury business and brand from its beginnings through to the present day. With nearly 50,000 Cadbury items, some dating as far back as 1842, the Archives are home to some of the rarest Cadbury documents and artefacts in the world. Key pieces include a scrapbook containing information from the Bridge Street factory, which was the Cadbury factory before Bournville, as well as Richard Cadbury’s own personal watercolour painting book from 1866. Countless artefacts, business reports and memorabilia, including packaging, advertising, mugs and seasonal items, are also kept safe in the space with many items now out on display. A brand new advertising wall shows Cadbury poster advertising through the ages in a unique 3D format.
