The submarine cable industry has grown into a global network that spans 1.3 million kilometres with $10 trillion in financial transactions every day. The cables carry everything from streaming videos and phone calls to credit card and ATM transactions. All at the speed of light. Discover how this incredible technology has developed from a single copper wire to thousands of optical fibres. The hut will be open to visitors and include extensive displays and information.
