Church Cottage Museum is a 16th Century Gem. Church Cottage was restored in 1994/95 and tells the story of its life since its original construction in 1590, as a Tudor dwelling within an agricultural community, as an Inn during the 18th century, Victorian School Room and finally as a family home once again for the latter part of the 20th century. There is ample parking including disabled spaces in a large Car Park and in Church Lane within a few metres of the Church Cottage Museum. We welcome all visitors but note that access is restricted by steps to ground floor rooms and staircase to first floor.
