An illustrated talk and walk explore the connections which influenced the designs of gardens created by Percy Cane.

Discover the story of our once lost garden and through careful excavation gradually gave up its secrets. The design background of the newly exposed garden features will be explained. This small gem of a garden was created by famous landscape designer Percy Cane. The talk will explore how he was influenced by the Arts & Crafts designer Harold Peto and others and reveal why the library garden came to be one of heritage significance.
